The Information Office of Jaish al-Islam posted a footage shows a security agent in the "Nasra Front" (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) HTS in the eastern Ghouta in the countryside of Damascus, called "Mahmoud Sharabji" nicknamed "Abu Omar Islam."
He confessed that he has pledged two and a half years ago pledged to Jabhat al-Nusra and to Abo al-Walid 90, the former leader in Jabha of Ghouta. Sharabji confirmed in his confession that his mission was to penetrate the movement of Ahrar Sham in the eastern Ghouta, and was assigned to spy on its leaders and collect information about them, then joined the movement and entered into its central force, and established strong relations with the leadership and princes, listening to the meetings of the leadership got important information on weapons and security information for Ahrar al-Sham.
He admitted in the recording tape that "Abu Zubayr" charged him with the assassination of "Dr. Jaafar" commander of Ahrar al-Sham in the eastern Ghouta, because of the latter's intention to merge his faction with Jaish al-Islam, and then to receive a homemade explosive device to stick it on the latter’s car Noting that he failed several times to place on his car.
During the concessions, he mentioned to Abo Ali al-Zubayr(the security prince in Jabhat al-Nusra\HTS), is responsible for the assassination Thabet al-Khareq who was killed two years ago in targeting a meeting of him with the commander of Failaq al-Rahman "Abu al-Nasr".
It is noteworthy that the factions operating in the Eastern Ghouta, especially Failaq al-Rahman ,TS and Jaish al-Islam constantly exchanging accusations about planning the assassination of leaders and sheikhs, most prominent the former judge "Khalid Tufour," who was subjected to a failed assassination attempt more than a year ago, and Sheikh "Abu Ahmed Oyoun," who was killed as he was hit by an IED.
